Thank you for always using Nuita.
For most people who’ve recently discovered Nuita, this blog might be something you’re seeing for the first time. In fact, in the roughly one year since this developer blog launched (July 2019 to now), only four posts have gone up.
This is a serious situation caused by the developer’s laziness. Too much time has been spent on ejaculating. Going forward, whether or not there are new features to announce, we’d like to share our development progress on this blog about once a month.
In this post, we’ll cover the changes that happened to Nuita in June, along with features that are currently being implemented.
Flash became Toast
Of this month’s changes, this is probably the one that’s most visually obvious. Until now, whenever the service responded to a user’s action (like logging in or posting a Nweet) with a short message, it displayed a short log called a “Flash.”

Hmm, the visibility on this is… not great.
And as those of you who’ve already posted may have noticed, these have been replaced with a modern new component. This simple yet cute popup is called a “Toast” — and honestly, at this point, nobody knows why it’s called that.

Besides being more visible, this component doesn’t displace the position of existing elements, which has (perhaps it’s just a feeling, but) significantly reduced response time during operation.
Various page transitions got faster
This is another change we’re hoping you’ve noticed, but a variety of operations have gotten faster. That’s because processes that used to involve actual page transitions can now be achieved by dynamically rewriting just part of the page. For the details… please check out the GitHub repository.
In particular, the time from the Nweet composition screen through posting and rendering the timeline has become considerably faster than before. The few minutes after ejaculation are among the most precious moments in life. Nuita will keep supporting your precious, irreplaceable life going forward by continuing to speed up its processing.
We released the Ruby gem “Panchira”
Have you ever thought about adding a feature to your own app that previews doujinshi URLs? That’s where Panchira comes in!
One of Nuita’s key features — displaying a title and thumbnail when you post a URL for fap material — is now a Ruby gem. Honestly, even the creator isn’t entirely sure what a “Ruby gem” is, but it seems to have become an amazing library that all sorts of people can use.
As Panchira supports more websites, Nuita’s card previews will keep getting richer too. If you’re a developer, and you don’t have family members who’d object to you contributing to Panchira or Nuita, please join us in developing it! Let’s build a better future together.
Upcoming features
Going forward, Nuita won’t stop at being just an ejaculation report SNS — as a service dedicated to fully supporting your masturbation, we’ll be rolling out features that create “new encounters with fap material.”
Before long, we should be able to show you a screen like this:

With that, we’ll see you at the next update, “Nuita Times: July Edition.” Nuita is open source software, and anyone can join development via GitHub. Most of the improvements covered in this post were made by ahis1503. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank them again.
We’re also always happy to receive bug reports, feature requests, letters, and feedback about Nuita via our contact form or on twitter. No matter how small, please feel free to reach out if you notice anything.
